| moved to NY at an early age Ralph Temple wrote on 3/19/2000 Hi Lyman, I earlier told you that Lyman Johnson lived in Otisco, Onondaga Co. NY in the 1830 census. Samuel Sherwood is also listed in Otisco, Onondaga Co. NY in both the 1820 and 1830 census. There is also a Samuel Sherwood listed in Onondaga Co. NY in the 1810 census. It sounds like the Sherwoods lived in the area for several years. Maybe some records could be found at the county courthouse in Syracuse NY. I will go to the USGenweb site online to see if I can come up with something on the Sherwoods in Onondaga Co. Ralph | ||||||||||
