Jasper Riddlesdale was born in Boxford, Suffolk, England around 1490. He married Elizabeth (last name UK). he was a husbandman (farmer) who also dealt in selling clay and gravel. He was involved in church affairs, being a church warden and arranging "church ale's" (social gatherings).
He and his wife had eleven children; Henry (abt 1518-1591), Thomas (abt 1522-1567), Peter, Grace KEBLE, Elizabeth RYVET, Jane, Amy, Robert, Richard, John (abt 1536-1614) and William. Jasper died in 1552 followed by his wife, Elizabeth, a year later. |
